Teaching Mathematics for Deep and Sustainable Understanding (1)
This session will introduce key principles of teaching for mastery approaches. We will explore how the use of variation can improve effective task design, leading to more secure understanding for students. With careful choice of questions and examples we can direct students’ attention to particular aspects of maths.
