Welcome to our Subject Development Videos and Resources.

Subject knowledge acquisition is an ongoing process that takes place consciously and subconsciously.  The reality of our busy school lives and relatively short training year, means novice teachers will need to take responsibility for their own subject knowledge learning and development.  This can be challenging when you do not know where to gain support or how to decide which sources are high quality and reliable.

Our Subject Resources have been curated by subject experts who understand the key principles of their subject with the sole purpose of educating, empowering and enabling novice teachers.  Resources include guidance and links to relevant subject associations, useful websites, recommended reading, videos and podcasts.

We hope that you find our Subject Resources accessible and impactful alongside the support of your training provider, placement schools and wider school communities as you continue to develop your subject knowledge.

We recognice that your time is valuable; therefore, we have curated a wide range of vidoes, resources and information to support your professional learning and development. These on-demand resources are flexible in use and delivered through the lens of the subject.
